Shipping and Return Policy
Comfy Couch specializes in made-to-order sofas, chairs, puffys and tables. Because every item is custom-built for you, please review all details carefully before placing your order. Once an order is confirmed and paid, it cannot be changed or canceled. Check FAQs. All sales are final on custom-made products; we do not accept returns or exchanges. In line with industry practice, our policy is clear: “No refund shall be made on products once sold”
⇄ Order Cancellations & Refunds
Made-to-Order, Final Sale: All furniture is tailored to your specifications. Once you place and pay for an order, it cannot be modified or canceled. We do not offer order cancellations, returns or refunds after payment.
No Refunds: Because items are custom-made, every purchase is final. We encourage you to double-check your order before payment. (For comparison, Antique Home Decor’s policy similarly states that once a product is sold, no refunds are issued.
No Returns/Exchanges: Custom orders cannot be returned or exchanged. Ensure that your measurements, fabric choices, and other specifications are correct, as all purchases are final.
⇄ Shipping & Delivery
- Delivery Region: We ship only within India. International shipping is not available.
- Within Pune: We arrange delivery via Porter, a reputable local courier. These deliveries include real-time tracking and typically arrive within 3 days once your item is ready. Porter’s intercity courier service is known for reliability, promising parcels reach their destination efficiently and safely. You will receive tracking updates until the item is delivered.
- Outside Pune: For deliveries beyond Pune, you have two options: you can arrange your own transport, or we can assist by booking a carrier, such as Porter’s intercity courier. In either case, you can monitor the shipment, ensuring transparency.
- Delivery Charges: All shipping/delivery costs are borne by the customer. Delivery fees vary by distance, weight, and carrier. We will inform you of any delivery charges at checkout or before dispatch. This is standard practice in the furniture industry
⇄ Damages & Defects
- Quality & “Zero-Defect” Guarantee: Every Comfy Couch item is inspected before shipping to uphold our commitment to quality. We follow a zero-defect philosophy: you should receive your furniture in perfect condition.
- Inspect at Delivery: Upon delivery, please inspect the furniture carefully. If you notice any damage or defect during delivery, notify the delivery agent immediately and then contact us. We will arrange service to correct the issue — typically through on-site repair or replacement of the affected part. Our approach mirrors industry standards where damaged items are repaired or replaced rather than refunded.
- Transit Damage: In the rare event your furniture is damaged in transit, we will organize an at-home repair at no additional cost to you. We do not process refunds for transit damage; instead, we promptly fix the issue so your item meets our quality standards. This aligns with other custom-furniture retailers’ policies that offer repair or replacement for transit defects.
